Quebec City with Lincoln Canada

Before I start this post, I would like to thank all health workers, supermarket employees and everyone who’s making sacrifices so that the rest of the community can stay at home and connect with friends and family even it’s only virtual.

I had a chance to spend two days in Quebec City thanks to Lincoln Canada trying the Hybrid MKZ. It’s the second time I drove a Lincoln, first time was back in November 2018 with the new Nautilus. They’re both very comfortable and powerful cars, but I think I prefer the hybrid version of the MKZ as it just feels very smooth on the road (I like the fact that it’s so silent in the city. I have used Lincoln’s Co-Pilot360 technology on both ways to Quebec and Montreal. that helps you keep in lane and also adjust the speed after you signal to pass the car in front. It’s a pretty straight drive both ways, but it make the road less tiring without doubt.

We left Montreal on a Friday morning and headed straight to the Ice Hotel. It’s one of those very touristic spots, local or international, but they always find a way to present it in a different way each year that it’s worth hitting it up if you’re around!

We headed to the museum early in the morning. MKZ has the parking assist which I found quite useful to park around the museum as it’s a residential area and sometimes it can be tight there. (+ I don’t like to make people wait while I’m parking!)

Frida Kahlo exhibition was very well done. Amazing photographs, vast selection of pieces — all tied together with artifacts.

We have headed to Le Continental for dinner. It’s a super classic gourmet restaurant with table-side service. You feel like you’re in a movie from 70s. I was happy to see that all the diners were equally amazed to see the flambé action at the tables around.

On our way to Montreal, we first wanted to drive through the small streets of Quebec City. The glass top is really a luxury to take it all in.
